Close Encounters

The Farr 1104 'Close Encounters' is a well known, veteran cruiser that has recently been purchased by four young Danish people who are taking a year out from study to cruise the islands.

THE CREW:

Jesper (captain, pictured) is studying to be a doctor.
Torben - an economics student,
Linn - studying biology and
Camille (pictured), who is studying Public Relations.

The four will be joined by various friends from Europe over the cruising season.

THE DESTINATIONS:

Cook Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia

THE TIMETABLE:

Departing New Zealand for Raratonga on 5 May, they have no commitments until heading back to NZ in November to sell the boat and resume their university studies in Feb 07.
