CRUISING & NAVIGATION ASSOCIATION OF NEW ZEALAND

CRUISING & NAVIGATION ASSOCIATION OF NEW ZEALAND

are pleased to invite all interested to their meeting next Monday 14th
April 2008 7:30pm, at Richmond Yacht Club, Westhaven.

Our featured speaker will be David Howie, editor and publisher of the
yachtie's website crew.org.nz, who will be telling and showing his 40 years
and 150,000 miles of racing, cruising and yacht deliveries. This will be
followed by our AGM, which if like previous years will be brief, and supper.

CANANZ was established in 1978 before the advent of GPS. We hold meetings
on the 2nd Monday of each even month, usually at Richmond Yacht Club,
Westhaven starting at 1930 hrs. We feature a speaker who presents their
recent expedition, some aspect of yachting, navigation, meteorology, or a
related topic. Members may borrow from our library of 400 books as well as
specialist magazines, audio and video tapes. We hold 2 weekend cruises
around the Hauraki Gulf annually, and send a regular newsletter to all
members. More details at www.cananz.org.nz
