Now That's Nice Looking Equipment

I’ve been contemplating that previous piece, why do the yachting politicians call a boat equipment?
Let’s see what happens if I write the invitation to the Crews in Company again:
My cousin has generously offered me the use of his equipment between Xmas and New Year, so the family is going to sail to the B o I. We are hoping some other equipments will join us for all or part of the trip. All equipments are welcome, and any equipment can join in or drop out at any point.
So, no matter if your equipment is big or small, why not join in the fun?

Next year we are running the Access Liberty world championships from 25 January – 31 January 2009 from the Viaduct and we are expecting up to 60 international competitors.

Australian Customs makes brutal assault against the rights and property of cruising sailors!

That's the latest headline from The Coastal Passage. I must admit that on my recent trip to Brisbane I found the officials mostly efficient and courteous, and tried to treat them similarly. I was even able to discuss my opposition to their reporting scheme in a civilised manner after explaining I had no complaint with the individuals on the boat, just the policy of their department.
